API 4 1/2" single plug double plug drill pipe cement head for liner cementing operation
The Drill Pipe Cement Head is a wellhead equipment.It is used for liner cementing operation and is also used to release plugs.
Cementing head is a kind of special tool to pump slurry and release plug. It is used to fill drilling fluid into casing in turn and quickly. In most operations, a bottom plug is launched before the spacer or cement slurry. The top plug is released from the cement head after the spacer fluid. Most cement heads can hold both the top and bottom plugs. A manifold incorporated into the cement head assembly allows connection of a fluid circulation line.
The types of cementing head are various as single-plugs, double plugs cementing head and so on. Double plug cement head is a special tool for grouting cement and releasing rubber plugs. Two rubber plugs can be installed at the same time, which can be used for both conventional double plug cementing and continuous two-stage cementing.
