Drilling tool stabilizers are divided into four basic structural forms according to their structure:
(1) There is an integral spiral stabilizer; the integral three-spiral and four-spiral stabilizers are divided into bottom hole type and drill string type. The wear-resistant materials on the working surface (i.e., the buttressing surface) include commonly used surface-mounted carbide columns and surface-mounted carbide columns. There are many forms such as inlaid diamond composites, cladding wear-resistant electrodes, and low-temperature brazing cemented carbide bars.
(2) Integral straight stabilizer;
(3) Roller stabilizer;
(4) Replaceable spiral stabilizer.
The replaceable sleeve stabilizer is composed of an integral mandrel and a sleeve. It has the function of an integral spiral stabilizer and can be adapted to different well diameters by replacing different centralizing sleeves. The same centralizing sleeve can also be replaced to extend the stabilizer. service life. The centralizing sleeve and the spindle are connected with a tapered thread, which makes the connection between the stabilizer centralizing sleeve and the spindle more reliable and makes replacement and assembly more convenient.
