API High Performance Non-Rotating Protectors Nrp for Reducing Torque
The casing anti-wear joint is installed at the drill pipe joint. When the drill pipe rotates, the anti-wear joint body rotates with the drill pipe. Since the coating material with a small friction coefficient is used between the body and the anti-wear sleeve, there is no relative rotation and friction between the anti-wear sleeve and the inner wall of the casing when they are in contact, or the relative rotation and friction are small, which reduces the rotational wear between the anti-wear sleeve and the inner wall of the casing, and thus reduces the wear and damage to the casing during the process of drilling and rotating the drill tool.
