Audited Supplier Casing Packer (casing external packer) uses hydraulic expansion type structure, mainly be used in the complex wells'(oil,gas,water) completion project, to achieve downhole packer and bridging and in favor of improvement of the quality of completion. The practice proved that this tool have characters of easy operation,wide adaptability, it has a very important position in the completion project.
Hydraulic expansion packer mainly consists ofvalve system joint assembly, rubber barrel, central tube ,casing sub. The valve system is divided into axial valve system and radial valve system. Radial valve system is composed of a set of three valve.
In the construction process, the replace plug will touch off the breaking stick which is sealed in the intake hole when the replace plunge through the valve joint of the packer. The replacement pluge will make the casing form a seal when it moves to the spoiler(we also can use the pitch or blind plate and pipe string process structures make casing form seal, for these process pipe string structure without plug through so we should take off the breaking stick in advance), Bie pressure liquid through the valve system fo intake hole into the open valve system of intake hole into the open valve. when the pressure to achieve set valve, the pin on the ope valve is snapped. open valve, and at the same time, the single valve is opened, the fluid is through limiting valve into the expansion cavity between the center pipe and rubber cylinder, making packer inflation and wall close contact form seal.
When the pressure of the expansion cavity reach the value of the limiting valve's pin pressure, pin shear, limiting valve closed and will make intake hole sealing, the caing pressure valve have no influence on the pressure is zero, open valve automatic locking, realize premanent closed,(see chart 3)after the downhole pressure operation dose not affect the packer fate.
