The Blast Joint, positioned opposite the perforations in the casing, is used in the tubing string of a flowing well to protect it from the abrasive action of the flowing well. It exposed the maximum of metal in the abrasive area, maintaining at the same as API tubing I.D. and coupling O.D.. It is available in 10ft or 20ft lengths and for use with 2-3/8" through 7" production strings.
