There are two structure model of annular BOP, model A: tapered rubber; model D: spherical rubber. Upper housing and the body have two connection forms as connection by bolts and connection by claw chuck.Annular BOP with spherical rubber is composed of five parts as upper housing, body, piston, spherical rubber and anti-dust ring.Annular BOP with tapered rubber is composed of seven parts as upper housing, wear plate, body, piston, tapered rubber, anti-dust ring and supporting cylinder.
'U' type Ram Blowout preventers
'U' type blowout preventers are the most widely used Ram-type BOP in the world. Without lightweight and lower profile, reliability is always the first priority during the design and manufacturing of BL 'U' type BOPs. It is designed so that hydraulic pressure opens and closes the bonnets thus fulfill the easy & quick ram change-out. 'LWS' type Ram type BOP is lightweight blowout preventer designed for easy maintenance and long life. It is ideal for smaller bore and lower working pressure application. This field-proven Ram preventer has been the most popular Ram BOPs in drilling and workover service for many decades. The 'LWS' type BOP is available in either flanged or studded design. In particular, the studded top and bottom configuration is optimal on smaller rigs due to its compact design and reduced weight.
