Hydrocyclones is also called cyclone separator, Hydrocyclones include hydrocyclone desander (10inch cone) and hydrocyclone desilter (4inch cone), which is used to separate sand and silt from the drilling fluid.Centrifugal pump is used to pump the drilling fluids from mud tank into the set of hydrocyclones.
 

Feature:

1:Gradation granularity is fine .because the cyclone mainly utilize centrifugal force for calssification,the centrifugal force is many times lager than gravity ,and now the use cyclone for fine particle classification.

2: The grading efficiency is higher,especially when the grading granularity is very fine (such as) 0.037mm, the grading efficiency is significantly higher than other grading equipment

3: simple structure ,no moving parts,easy to manufacture.

4: It covers a small area.
