The Model PQF Annulus Gas Vent Valve is a hydraulically operated type valve designed to control flow of vent gas in submersible pump completions. The valve is a normally closed from spring force and is held open by hydraulic pressure from the surface via a control line. Should hydraulic pressure be relaxed the valve will return to its normally

closed position, provided its location in the well is within the setting depth specification.

Control chamber test pressure is 5,000 psi. Normally the fail-safe setting depth is 1800 ft with hydraulic fluid in the control line, the fail-safe setting depth for type S is 5000 ft with hydraulic fluid in the control line.

*The vent port through the ESP Packer allows venting of gas through the annulus while simultaneously producing through the tubing.
*Emergency Kill Feature - If killing the well becomes necessary, fluid can be pumped down the tubing through the tubing safety valve. In the event the tubing below the ESP Packer is blocked such as with a blanking plug, fluid pumped down through the annulus through the Vent Valve in the Open position.
* Large Gas Vent Flow Area.
