The annular blowout preventer is an important component of well control equipment, mainly used to control wellhead pressure in drilling, well repair, oil testing and other operations, effectively preventing blowout accidents and achieving safe construction. The annular blowout preventer must be equipped with a hydraulic control system in order to be used. It is usually used in conjunction with a ram preventer, but can also be used separately. The rubber core has two forms: spherical and conical.
