Product Description

Stabilizer is one of main drill tool assembly in hole guiding. During drilling in deviating and horizontal well , in view of
workmanship, stabilizer OD is required to be equal or 1~2mm less than drill bit so that too small clearance between borehole wall and stabilizer usually causes stabilizer to be easily stuck during tripping out of hole.
However, variable diameter stabilizer solves the problem which common stabilizer can not solves. During drilling in directional well, by use of differential pressure at nozzle produced by circulation of fluid among inside and outside of drill string, stabilizer stretch out supporting head to reach full hole so that stabilizer equipped with different drill tools to increase or angle drop or stabilize hole inclination. Meanwhile, when stop pump circulation, support head draws back so that stabilizer OD becomes small to improve tripping out smoothly.

•API standard oilfield stabilizers are manufactured from one solid bar of AISI 4145H modifed steel, usually have 3 blade or 4 blades.Professional heat-treatment process gurantees the mechanical strengths meet the requirments of API SPEC7-1. Hardness of 285-341HB can be assured with 1'' beneath the outer surface and 4 quadrant across the neck OD.
•Replaceable sleeve stabilizer consists of mandrel and sleeve. The function is the same as spiral integral blade stabilizer. It can suit to different hole sizes and increase working life by changing the different size sleeves. The sleeve is threaded on the mandrel, so the sleeve can be fasten to the mandrel tightly and changed easily.
